The yearly hot air balloon festival in Angeles City is here again to awe us with different hot balloons floating in the sky. The festival will be held at Omni Aviation Complex in Clark Field from February 9- 12, 2012, an open area cleared of metal buildings. Hot Air Balloon Flights are scheduled every 5:30 morning.
The Hot Air balloon festival started to help boost the local economy and the spirit of people in Central Luzon after the devastating Mt Pinatubo eruption. In 1994, the festival’s first year, there were 21 hot air balloons that participated from 10 countries. Now, the festival is considered as one of the most sports aviation event.
